Categories of data collected and sources:

Cowool processes the following categories of personal data: identification data (surnames, first names, dates of birth, etc.), contact data (email addresses, postal contact details, telephone numbers, etc.), life data professional (company name, function in the company, etc.) as well as data relating to the diplomas and experience of job candidates.

The information collected by Cowool and which is essential to meet the aforementioned purposes is identified by an asterisk on the collection forms. If you do not fill in these required fields. Cowool may not be able to provide the service concerned.

Your data is collected directly by Cowool or may have been transmitted to us by our business partners (in particular, companies in which Cowool directly or indirectly holds majority interests).

Data recipients:

These data are mainly accessible by the Communication Department and the Information Systems Department of Cowool.

Your personal data may be communicated to Third Parties, Partners and/or Subcontractors of Cowool. These are in particular companies in which Cowool directly or indirectly holds majority interests as well as subcontractors who intervene for the purposes of computer hosting and/or maintenance. Sub-processors acting on the instructions of Cowool will be required to implement the appropriate protective measures.

If certain Third Parties are located in countries whose regulations do not necessarily offer the same level of protection as that of the Member States of the European Union, Cowool will ensure that these transfers are carried out in accordance with the provisions imposed by French regulations ( such as the implementation of contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission or membership of the PRIVACY SHIELD in the United States). You can contact our DPO to obtain further information on these subjects as well as a copy of the relevant documents.

The duration of the conversation :

The personal data collected is kept by Cowool in accordance with the regulations relating to data protection and according to the duration of the legal requirements. For instance :

  • Data relating to commercial prospecting are kept for three years from the last contact;
  • Data relating to contract management are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship plus the limitation period (in general, the limitation period is 5 years)
  • Data relating to recruitment management are kept for a period of 24 months.

Your rights :

You have rights in accordance with the applicable regulations:

For job applicants

As part of your job application, we inform you that the company Cowool will act as Data Controller in order to protect your personal data.

The personal data transmitted as part of your application is necessary for processing it and will be used for the sole purpose of assessing your ability to hold the job for which you are applying. This data may relate to your identity, your professional and non-professional activities related to the job offered or to the assessment of your professional aptitudes. This processing of personal data meets the legitimate interests of the Cowool company and is necessary for the purposes of carrying out pre-contractual measures. When compiling your application file, you are informed of the mandatory or optional nature of the data requested. Regarding optional information, you can choose not to communicate it. As for mandatory information, the absence of a response will prevent the Cowool company from processing your application.

The personal data concerning you will have been transmitted to us directly by you or by one of our collaborators (in the event of co-optation) or by one of our
partners (recruitment company). The personal data that you communicate will be directly processed by the Human Resources Department and by the operational managers of the department involved in the recruitment as well as by the Information Systems Department (as part of its IT maintenance missions). Your data will be kept, in the event of a negative outcome of the application, 2 years after the last contact.
